my assignment is to stand here as a sentinel,
half human, half statue to guard a line of protection
between the living and the dead. there are some
members of the living that want to steal from the dead,
both the goods they are buried with but also their memories.
and the half statue is important for the protection of the humans
because the dead want to steal life back from them so that the dead
can live again.
a virgin has sacrificed the worth of her life to balance here
on the cross between both worlds so
the children of both worlds can
sleep in peace.
